Why palmistry is structural, not fortune-telling
The lines on your hand change with time — that is documented, observable fact. What each line and mount encodes are patterns of behaviour, capacity and stress. A skilled palmist reads what is currently in the hand, not what “will” happen. Our system does the same: describes what is visible, notes what is absent, and stays silent about what cannot be seen.
Upload requirements
Photograph both palms in bright natural light. Keep fingers spread, palm flat, no shadows across the lines. If a line is faint, take a second photo at a slightly different angle. Your reading is only as good as your images.

What is Palmistry (Hast Rekha Shastra)?
Palmistry, known in Sanskrit as Hast Rekha Shastra, is the classical practice of reading the lines, mounts, shape, and texture of the palms to understand a person's temperament, health tendencies, relationship patterns, and life direction. In the Vedic tradition, the palm is treated as a living record of karma the soul carries forward, evolving line by line over the years.
A trained palmist reads the four major lines (Life, Head, Heart, and Fate), the seven mounts governed by the planets, the finger shape and length, the thumb's flexibility, and the fine minor lines that reveal timing of key life events.
How AstroVeda Pro calculates this
AstroVeda Pro combines classical Hast Rekha Shastra with a computational vision layer. You upload clear photos of both palms; our system analyses the dominant palm for the destiny you are actively creating and the non-dominant palm for the patterns you inherited. Interpretations follow the classical Indian palmistry school (Cheiro-informed, then refined by 40+ years of practitioner input) rather than generic western palmistry.
Every reading is at least 3,000 words of specific, visually-anchored observation, not vague generalisations.

Frequently asked questions
What hand images do I need?
Clear photos of both palms in natural light, fingers spread, entire palm visible, no shadows. Dominant hand shows present/future, non-dominant shows inherent tendencies.
Do you invent lines you can't see?
Never. If a line isn’t visible in your image, we say so. Our system has a strict “honesty gate” that refuses to describe features that don’t appear in your palm.
What is the Simian line?
A rare merged head-and-heart line, present in roughly 1 to 4% of hands. It indicates intense focus and a single-track approach to both thought and emotion, explained fully in your reading if detected.
Which lines and features do you actually read?
Head line, heart line, life line, fate line where present, mounts, finger shape, and hand shape are all analyzed together, not just one or two lines in isolation.
Do you use hand shape (Earth, Air, Fire, Water) in the reading?
Yes. Hand shape is one of the base indicators we factor in alongside the individual lines, since it sets the overall temperament the line reading is interpreted against.
Can I use an old photo of my palm?
We recommend a recent photo. Palm lines do shift gradually over time, especially the head and heart lines, so a current photo gives the most accurate present-day reading.
